About Selank Compound
An independent, friendly, plainly-written digest of the Selank research — honestly cited, with the gaps kept in plain sight.
What this site is
Selank Compound is an independent editorial project that publishes plain-English summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on Selank. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.
The goal is simple: take a research peptide that's surrounded by hype and Russian-language journals most people can't read, and lay out what the studies actually measured — clearly, cheerfully, and with every number cited.
How we read the evidence
We try to be the opposite of breathless. When a finding is solid, we say so plainly — Selank really does act as a positive allosteric modulator of GABA-receptor binding [1], and it really did reduce anxiety without sedation in the Russian clinical record [6]. When the evidence is thin, we say that too: the human data are single-region, the pharmacokinetics are poorly characterized, and independent Western replication is limited [6].
That "honest gap" framing runs through the whole site. The community-reported effects on the effects page are clearly labeled anecdotal and kept separate from the cited safety reasoning. We don't publish human doses, and we never frame Selank as a treatment.
What the name means
"Selank Compound" is editorial framing — a position we occupy as a publisher relative to the literature on this compound. It is not a claim to be a laboratory, a pharmacy, or a healthcare provider. There are no "our researchers" or "our clinicians" here; there is a digest of other people's published research, summarized for general readers. If you want the raw sources, they're all on the references page, and you can reach us through contact.
